Ngl I was dead wrong about those expensive USB oscilloscopes
After fighting with a $50 scope for 6 months on a Falcon 50 pitot static test last week, I finally borrowed a coworker's PicoScope and the noise floor difference was night and day, has anyone else found a budget scope that actually handles avionics work?

Ngl those cheap handheld DSOs struggle with noise too.

Honestly though, that $50 scope probably wasn't giving you a clean enough signal for avionics work to begin with. Even a used Rigol DS1054Z with the 100MHz hack would have shown you way more detail on that pitot static test.

Yeah but that Rigol with the hack is still like $350 used. For the money, I read some guys are just grabbing those little handheld DSOs for basic avionics checks and they work fine.
