I finally (seriously) got why emergency funds matter after my fridge died.
It totally stops the money freak-out when appliances quit.

That's rough, but new fridges are so pricey now. Could've saved a ton looking for a decent used one locally lol.

Ever check if your home warranty covers appliances? Mine did when my dishwasher went out, saved me a huge headache. Honestly, it's worth a quick look before you buy anything.
