Lost $800 on a 'guaranteed' crypto signal group that turned out to be total nonsense

I paid a $200 monthly fee for four months to join this group that promised daily trading signals. The guy running it kept talking about 'market cycles' and 'alpha' but his picks were just random coins he liked. After the third month, I realized my portfolio was down 30% following his advice. The final straw was when he pushed a new token that rugged two days later. Anyone know a legit way to actually learn this stuff without getting scammed?
