My budget tracker app crashed and lost 4 months of expense data yesterday
Should I start over fresh with a new app or try to rebuild the old one from memory, and has anyone else dealt with losing all their babble finance tracking history?

Starting over fresh sounds like way less hassle honestly. Rebuilding 4 months of random coffee runs and grocery trips from memory sounds like a nightmare. Plus that old app already let you down once, why trust it again? Might be worth asking if you really need that level of detail anyway, or if a simple overview would work just as well. What did you actually get out of that data before it vanished?
