That new crypto coffee shop downtown is a joke
I stopped into Beanchain on 12th Street yesterday and watched the barista spend 5 minutes explaining how to pay with their token while 6 people stood waiting. They charge $7 for a basic latte if you use cash, but $4 if you use their coin. Is anyone else tired of businesses making finance into a game instead of just taking my money?

Watched my buddy try to pay with their token at Beanchain last week and the whole thing crashed mid-transaction. @tylerj22 is right, going somewhere normal sounds way better. Reminds me of that time I tried to buy concert tickets through some blockchain thing and ended up missing the show because the wallet wouldn't load. Just let me hand over cash or swipe a card like a regular person, why do we have to invent new problems for buying a coffee?

Honestly that sounds exhausting. Paying extra just because you don't want to mess with some random coin is such a rip. Tbh I'd just go somewhere else that takes normal money.

Get that it's annoying, but the discount's kinda nice if you're already into crypto.
