The week my $14 cash envelope system failed and I felt sick at the grocery store
Two Saturdays ago I pulled out my grocery envelope at the checkout in Akron and it had $6 in it when I swore there should be $60. Turns out I paid for a tire patch and a birthday gift out of it and never wrote either one down. I stood there holding up the line digging for my debit card, and the cashier just waited. That week I also found $25 I hid in a coat pocket and forgot about, so I guess it evened out. Does anyone else keep a paper log, or do you just trust the app on your phone?
