TIL I was overcomplicating my Babble wallet setup

I was at the downtown coffee shop last Tuesday watching a guy set up his payment stream in under 5 minutes while I'd been fussing with mine for weeks. He just used the basic auto-allocate feature instead of the fancy tiered system I'd built. Anyone else find the simple options work better than the complex ones?

I did the exact same thing honestly, threw together this whole multi-tier system with conditional rules and it was a nightmare to maintain. Once I switched over to the basic auto-allocate my payments actually started flowing consistently without random hiccups. Sometimes the fancy stuff just gets in the way of what actually works lol.

Yeah it's wild how easy it is to overthink something that should be simple. I spent a whole weekend building out a system with tags and priority levels and automatic email reminders for every single bill. Then one update broke the whole thing and I couldn't figure out how to fix it. Gutted the whole thing and now I just use a basic schedule with two categories. Never looking back. Sometimes the simplest way really is the best way even if it feels too easy at first.
