Tried that automatic budget tracker app for 3 weeks and it flagged my $8 coffee as 'unusual spending'

Right? "Unusual spending" for an $8 coffee - that's wild. It's like these apps are designed to make you feel guilty for buying literally anything that brings a tiny bit of joy. I feel like this is part of a bigger thing where we're all being told to optimize every single choice we make, even our morning coffee. Why can't something just be a nice little normal thing without it being a "problem"? It's the same with grocery receipts now, everything is tracked and judged like you're doing something wrong if you buy a regular item. Sometimes a coffee is just a coffee, not a financial mistake.

$8 coffee is a necessity not a luxury lol. That app sounds annoying as hell.

Reminds me of the time my bank flagged a $2 taco from a gas station as fraud and locked my card for a week.
