Got stuck on a ridge in the Sierras because I trusted GPS over paper

Heard about my buddy Tom who did the same thing up near Yosemite last fall. GPS sent him down some old logging road that turned into a washed out creek bed. Ended up having to walk three miles in the dark to get cell service and call his wife for a tow truck. The paper map in his glove box showed the logging road as a dashed line for a reason.
