I finally hit 50 miles on the PCT section I was dreading
Honestly, I thought doing the stretch through the Sierra in California would wreck me, but I crossed the 50-mile mark last week and it felt way easier than I expected. The snowmelt made all the creek crossings gnarly, but the wildflowers blooming along the trail totally changed my mind about the whole route. Has anyone else had a milestone like that where a rough section turned out better than you thought?

Good for you, honestly. That Sierra stretch is no joke with the snowmelt. Creek crossings are always the worst part for me too. Wildflowers really do make everything better though.

Used to hate that whole section, but the flower show totally flipped my opinion. Might actually go back next spring now.
