Just saw that the Pacific Crest Trail has over 700 trailhead registers

Read it in a 2023 trail report from the PCTA. Does anyone actually sign all of them, or do you skip some after a while?

My signature got so bad after a few weeks, it was basically a shaky line. I'm doing a public service by skipping some.

Check the wording on that report. Those are trailhead registers for the whole trail system, not just the PCT itself. You'd hit a tiny fraction of them on a thru-hike. It's still a fun goal to sign the ones you pass, though.
