Old guy on the PCT showed me a trick for blisters I still use
Met a retired trail runner named Dave near Crater Lake around mile 1700 who said to use leukotape straight on clean skin, not molefoam. Tried it after my heel started rubbing bad and that tape stayed on through 4 days of river crossings. Anyone else swear by this stuff over the usual blister pads?

My buddy swore by leukotape after a thru-hiker fixed his heel at Muir Pass, never used anything else since.

Muir Pass is actually in the Sierra, not on the PCT... right? Pretty sure that's John Muir Trail territory. Leukotape is solid stuff though, can't argue with that.
