Serious question, has anyone dealt with a dead headlamp on the Eagle Rock loop with 2 hours of daylight left?
I was halfway through the Eagle Rock loop near Ouachita last month when my headlamp died at 4pm because I forgot to switch batteries after the last trip. I pulled out my phone light and hiked the last 3 miles slow, but it got me thinking about backup plans. What's your go-to backup light setup when your main one quits on a route like that?
