Why does nobody mention the seasonal creek crossing on the Eagle Rock route?

We had to backtrack three miles when we found it flooded last month.

Yeah, for real, why wouldn't you check? I mean, I drove out to the river last month, totally stoked, and it was basically a trickle. Total waste of a trip.
