Always rolled my eyes at people who said The Room was a 'must watch' bad movie

I finally watched it last weekend with a group of friends and I get it now. The rooftop scene with the spoons had us laughing for five minutes straight, and I can't believe Tommy Wiseau actually wrote that script.

Ngl the first detail that broke me was when Johnny says "I did not hit her, it's not true, it's bullshit, I did not hit her, I did not." That delivery is so bad it loops back to being genius. Honestly the whole script feels like a fever dream written by an alien who learned English from a dictionary. Tommy's accent changes mid-sentence all the time too. I lost it when he just walks out of the room for no reason during the big argument scene. This movie is genuinely baffling.

Laughing my ass off at the alien learning English from a dictionary bit because that explains so much. Every line feels like it was translated five times through Google Translate and then yelled at a wall. The way Tommy just walks out during the biggest fight scene kills me too, like he remembered he left the stove on and had to dip immediately. Peter disappearing halfway through is the ultimate cherry on top though, no goodbye, no explanation, just gone like a ghost lmao. This whole movie is a glorious disaster and I love that we all get to witness it together.

Ask if they noticed how the guy playing Peter just randomly disappears halfway through the movie with zero explanation.
