DAE argue about subs vs dubs for bad movie night?
Last Friday my buddy brought over a copy of a 1970s Italian horror flick and we watched it dubbed, and the mismatched lips made the whole thing 10 times funnier. The next week we tried another one with subtitles and honestly we barely laughed, we just sat there reading. I get that subs are more "accurate" but for bad movie night the bad dubbing is half the fun. So which side are you on, do you keep the dub on for the laughs or do you switch to subs? And does anybody have a title where the dub is just unwatchable?
