Debate: Do you watch the whole bad movie in one sitting or break it up into parts like a mini series?

Does anyone actually stop in the middle of a terrible movie when you're already halfway through the trainwreck?

Tbh I'm the worst at this, I'll sit through the whole thing just to see how bad it gets. Once watched a movie so terrible the main character turned into a car halfway through and I couldn't look away. My husband was begging me to turn it off but I was too committed to the disaster.

Turning it into a mini series is the only way I survive the truly awful ones. My trick is to set a timer for 30 minutes and then walk away, no matter how tempting the dumpster fire is. You need to give your brain a break to reset your expectations, otherwise the bad acting just compounds on itself. Plus it gives you time to text your friends updates like "he just turned into a car" so they can share in the misery.
