Heard a guy at a Portland gas station call 'The Room' a masterpiece, and now my movie group won't shut up about it
I was filling up my car at a station off Powell Blvd last Friday when two guys next to me started arguing about bad movies. One of them said, dead serious, "The Room is a masterpiece and I will die on that hill." I laughed at first, but then I thought about how my own movie group spent 3 years avoiding it because we assumed it was just bad, not fun bad. We finally watched it last month and the spoons thing had us pausing the TV at least 6 times. So what's the one movie you defended as art when everyone else just saw trash?
