I just walked out of a screening of The Room in Portland and I think I'm the only person who doesn't love it

I went to the midnight showing at Cinema 21 last Friday, and everyone was throwing spoons and yelling lines like it was a religious experience. But honestly, I spent half the movie bored because the pacing drags so much between the weird scenes. Am I missing something or does anyone else think the hype overshadows how dull most of it actually is?
