Just realized my movie night picks were all wrong for years
Last month I hosted a Bad Movie Night at my place in Portland and picked "The Room" for the third time. Everyone groaned and said theyd seen it too many times. It made me think about how Id been replaying the same classics instead of digging for fresh disasters. Has anyone else gotten stuck in a rut with their go-to bad movies.

The Room isn't really a "bad" movie, it's more of a beautiful trainwreck.

Huh, so you're saying it's like performance art that just happens to be a movie? I used to just laugh at how bad everything was, but hearing you put it that way kinda shifted how I see it. Yeah, there's something almost beautiful about how sincere it all is, even when it falls apart.
