My buddy called my movie picks 'homework' and honestly he was right
I used to pick stuff like The Room and Birdemic for our Friday bad movie nights because those are the classics everyone talks about. Then my friend Dave said my picks felt like homework, like I was making everyone study the famous bad ones instead of just having fun, and that stuck with me. So I started grabbing whatever random junk was sitting at the bottom of the $1 bin at the Video Vortex in Canton, and let me tell you, we laughed harder at some 1987 alien ripoff nobody has ever heard of than we ever did at Troll 2. Does anyone else have a rule for picking stuff that is fun-bad versus just famous-bad?

How did you end up figuring out which dollar bin stuff was actually worth watching though? Like was there a moment where you grabbed something that looked terrible and it turned out to just be boring instead of funny?
