My DVD player ate Disc 2 of my so-bad-it's-good marathon and I'm still mad
Two Fridays ago my 15 year old player chewed up the second disc of a killer bad movie triple feature, and I had to finish the night watching a scratched copy on my laptop. The tray makes a grinding noise now and I've tried the unplug-it-and-pray method twice with zero luck. Should I crack it open and clean the laser, or is it time to just retire the poor thing?
