Shoutout to the thrift store on Elm Street that had a whole shelf of VHS tapes

I stopped by that thrift store near my place last Saturday and found like 30 VHS tapes for a dollar each. They had this old movie called "Laser Mission" with some actor who thinks he's a spy. I grabbed it and five other tapes that looked hilariously awful. Is there a hidden gem in those bargain bins that I should watch next? I'm trying to find the best worst movie for my Friday night group, and we've already burned through "The Room" and "Birdemic." Any suggestions from your own thrift store finds?

Ha, I used to think those old action movies from the 80s and 90s were just trash. But then I grabbed "Raw Deal" from a similar bin and it totally changed my mind. It's got Arnold Schwarzenegger in a terrible wig and the plot makes zero sense, but we had a blast laughing at the awful one-liners. You gotta check out "Miami Connection" if you can find it. It's about a synth pop band that also fights ninjas. That movie singlehandedly made me a fan of bad cinema.

Tbh, I totally get that. @adam_patel, after my first bad movie night with "The Room" I was hooked too. What worked for me was starting a group text with a few friends and making it a regular thing. It turns something that could be cringey into a whole experience.
