Spent $40 on a used copy of “The Room” and it was totally worth it

I found a beat-up DVD of The Room at a thrift store for $40, which is way too much but I had to have it. Watched it with my buddies last Friday and we were crying laughing at the football scene and Tommy Wiseau’s accent. Has anyone else overpaid for a bad movie that ended up being the best night ever?

Heard someone say that movie is basically a masterclass in how not to make a film but honestly its way more entertaining than half the stuff that actually tries to be good lol. That football scene kills me every time.

Oh man, @grace89, I feel you so hard on this... that movie is a beautiful disaster and I wouldn't have it any other way. The football scene is pure gold, I lose it every single time too. It's the kind of mess that just grabs you, you know? Way more fun to watch than something that's trying too hard to be deep and important.
