Yeah that really sucks but honestly it's kind of on Twitch at this point. The whole automated system is way too trigger happy, they don't give you any warning or chance to explain. Streaming bad movies is literally a whole genre of entertainment, people love watching terrible films together for the laughs. But the copyright bots just scan for anything recognizable and flag it instantly, no human checking involved. Streamers have been complaining about this for years and Twitch just keeps the system as is. Maybe try uploading the stream to YouTube or somewhere else first, but even then you'd probably get hit there too. It's a mess.

Exactly this. The bots don't care about context at all, they just see a match and nuke it. Twitch could easily add a manual review step but that would cost them money so they won't bother.

Honestly I see it a bit different, @josephmartin. The bots are annoying sure, but streamers know the rules by now and still push it with copyrighted mainstream movies.
