That $7 thrift store DVD of The Room was the best investment I ever made
Picked it up last weekend on a whim and it was the highlight of our movie night. We had 10 people over and everyone was laughing at the terrible acting and weird plot. Anyone else got a cheap bad movie that turned into a regular watch?

You said it was the highlight of movie night - did your friends actually get the joke right away or did some of them not realize it was supposed to be bad at first?" I've had that happen where half the room is cracking up and the other half is just confused about what's so funny. It's even better when someone leaves halfway through because they think it's just a terrible movie, not knowing you're watching it on purpose.

My buddy brought his girlfriend once and she sat through the whole thing stone-faced, then asked if we needed help finding a better movie to watch. She didn't come to the next one, which honestly made the jokes land even harder.
