That movie "The Room" seemed like overhyped garbage until my buddy made me watch it at 2 AM

I swear, I heard people talking about how it was 'so bad it's good' for years and I just rolled my eyes. Thought it was some hipster thing. Then last month my friend dragged me to his place after a few beers, put it on, and I couldn't stop laughing. The football scene? The flower shop? I had to admit it's legit funny bad. Has anyone else had a movie they dismissed for years finally win them over?

The rooftop scene is where it clicked for me too, that whole "you're tearing me apart" line is so weird it's perfect. I read somewhere that Tommy Wiseau actually thought he was making a serious drama about love and betrayal. It makes the whole thing way funnier when you realize he wasn't kidding.

The flower shop scene alone makes the whole movie work somehow.

The flower shop scene isn't until later actually, the first one is the rooftop "you're tearing me apart" line.
