The $4 thrift store VHS that saved our movie night
Our group picked a random horror from 1987 called "Bloody Beach Party" and it was so boring we almost turned it off. Then I remembered a trick from a forum about slowing down the playback speed on the DVD player to make bad acting look hilarious. We set it to 0.8x speed and suddenly every dramatic pause lasted forever, the kills looked goofy, and the dialogue dragged into comedy gold. It turned a snoozefest into the funniest night we've had in months. Anyone else mess with playback speed or do you stick with the original cut?

My 1984 slasher flick at half speed made the killer look like he was swimming through Jell-O.
