TIL that watching a bad movie alone is NOTHING like watching it with friends
I spent Tuesday night watching 'The Room' by myself and barely made it through 20 minutes before I got bored. Then Friday I dragged three friends over to watch it and we were dying laughing the whole time, pausing every 5 minutes to rewind the weirdest scenes. Has anyone else noticed how a bad movie's entertainment value totally depends on who you're watching it with?

Bad movies are a totally different experience with a crowd. The Room is basically unwatchable alone, but pure gold with friends.

Not sure why The Room needs a crowd to be watchable. I can sit there alone and laugh at how terrible it is just fine. It's really not that deep, just a bad movie either way.

Honestly I used to think the same as Robert until I saw The Room at a midnight screening, now I totally get it lol. The crowd reactions made it a completely different movie.
