Took me three months to figure out why The Room was so funny to watch.
I kept trying to watch The Room like a normal movie and got so confused. Nothing made sense. Then my buddy said just treat it like a comedy. That changed everything. Has anyone else had a bad movie suddenly click after you stopped taking it seriously?

I used to think people were overhyping how funny it is, but honestly I get it now. Once you stop trying to make sense of it and just laugh at how wrong everything is, it's actually a great time (in a weird way).

Wait, is that the same thing with those old budget action movies from the 80s? I remember my cousin made me watch this one called "The Eliminator" or something like that. The plot made zero sense, the bad guy had this fake accent that changed every scene, and there was a car chase that ended with a guy just falling into a pool for no reason. We were crying laughing by the end, trying to piece together what we just watched. It's like your brain has to just give up and accept the chaos for what it is. Sometimes the worst stuff ends up being the most fun if you're with the right people and don't take it serious.
