Watched Troll 2 with the commentary track on, whole different movie now

Put on the audio commentary during a rewatch last Saturday and the director just straight up admits they never had a script, they made it up as they filmed. Anyone else try a commentary track for a so-bad-it's-good pick and end up liking it more than the actual movie?

Yeah the commentary for The Room made me enjoy it way more than the movie itself honestly.
