Watching 'The Room' used to be a solo cringe fest for me

I'd just sit there shaking my head at the bad acting and weird plot. Then a friend in Austin made me watch it with a group, and we all threw plastic spoons at the screen and yelled the lines. It turned a truly bad movie into the most fun I've had in months. Has anyone else had a movie that got way better with a crowd?

Totally get that. Some horror movies are actually scarier alone, but the bad ones become hilarious with a group. We did that with an old zombie flick and just made up our own dialogue the whole time.

But is it really that deep? It's just a movie night.

I mean, my solo movie nights are mostly me falling asleep, so @hannahsingh has a point.
