I used to bake my sourdough at 450 for 45 minutes, but a guy at the farmers market told me to drop it to 425 and add an ice cube.

So where do you put the ice cube... in the oven?

My grandma's recipe actually calls for three ice cubes in the roasting pan.

Honestly, you just put them in the pan with the roast.
