Walked into a bakery in Dubuque and saw a 60 year old proof box still running
Stopped in a small shop in Dubuque, Iowa while visiting family. Owner showed me his proof box, a 1963 model with a hand crank he still uses daily. Said the new digital ones break every couple years and his bench scraper has outlived 3 mixers. Anybody else keeping old gear alive because new stuff just does not hold up?
