I finally stopped fighting my sourdough starter at 6 AM

After 4 months of feeding that thing at sunrise before work, I realized I was overcomplicating it. Skipped a feed one weekend, came back 2 days later, and it bounced right back in 3 hours. Has anyone else figured out their starter is way more forgiving than the online guides make it seem?

Isn't that just neglect with extra steps?
