The way my failed cake turned into a block party surprise
Honestly, I've been seeing how baking starts more chats than I expected. Last week, I tried a fancy layer cake and totally messed up the frosting. Instead of hiding it, I took the lumpy thing to a neighborhood potluck. Ngl, people loved the story more than the cake, and now we're planning a monthly bake-off. It's funny how a baking fail can bring everyone together.

You took a lumpy cake to a potluck? That’s brave! It actually started a monthly thing, that’s wild.

How did a lumpy cake lead to a monthly thing?

My friend brought a messed up pie to a block party once and now we have a baking club. Gray_mason30 would get a kick out of how these things spread.
