The way my failed cake turned into a block party surprise

Honestly, I've been seeing how baking starts more chats than I expected. Last week, I tried a fancy layer cake and totally messed up the frosting. Instead of hiding it, I took the lumpy thing to a neighborhood potluck. Ngl, people loved the story more than the cake, and now we're planning a monthly bake-off. It's funny how a baking fail can bring everyone together.
