Update: That gooey brownie center is no longer a mystery
My brownies were often dry and cakey. I baked them for less time this round. They came out with a perfect fudgy middle. Such a simple adjustment. It feels like a big victory in my kitchen.

Why is it always the best stuff that never gets shared widely? I've seen this so many times where someone has an amazing family recipe or a perfect way to do something, but it only ever stays in their close circle. It's like the really good, simple things in life are weirdly private. Makes you wonder how much great stuff we're all missing out on because people just keep it to themselves and a few friends.
