The bakery on 5th in Canton stacks sheet pans under the cake case, and seeing that made my own fails feel less lonely
I poked into a little bakery on 5th in Canton last week while my truck got new tires, and noticed they keep their warped, lopsided sheet pans stacked under the glass cake case for everyone to see. Turns out they keep the ugly ones on purpose after a 3-tier wedding cake leaned hard to one side 6 years ago, and the owner says it reminds her nobody bats 100. Do you keep any of your own wrecked bakes around, or do they all go straight in the trash?
