After a client's rash, I'm rethinking the upsell game
I recommended a styling gel to a long-time customer, and he broke out in hives. This experience has me thinking the push for add-ons is not worth the risk. How do you balance making sales with keeping client trust?

Remember the problem is pushing stuff, not making honest suggestions.

But what if the honest suggestions are the real problem? People hide behind "just being honest" to push their own ideas all the time. Maybe both sides are doing the same thing with different labels?

Wait, so you're saying the honest part isn't even the issue? That's wild.

Gotta disagree a little here Spencer. Honest suggestions are just people sharing their actual opinion, not pushing an agenda.
