Clipper oil I was sure was a gimmick saved my fading
I bought fancy clipper oil at the Atlanta barber expo last year thinking it was just hype. After four months of using it on my Wahl Seniors, my blades run cooler and I haven't had to adjust the zero gap once. Anyone else find a product they were dead wrong about?

Man, I was the same way! I grabbed some Blade Ice off a recommendation and figured it was just snake oil for barbers. But after a few months, my clippers honestly feel smoother and I'm not having to tweak the tension screw every couple weeks. That stuff really does work if you give it a chance.

Used to be in the same boat honestly. Thought all those specialty oils were just marketing hype to upsell barbers on stuff we didn't need. But after my buddy let me try his bottle of Blade Ice last summer, I ended up ordering a three-pack that same week. My blades aren't getting that hot burn mark on the bottom anymore and they cut way cleaner through thick wet hair. Still can't believe a little bottle of oil made that much difference but it did.
