Dropped $200 on a Wahl clipper and it cut worse than my old $40 one
So last month my trusty $40 clipper finally died after like 4 years of constant use. I figured hey, I run a one chair shop in my garage in Modesto, I should step up and get something pro grade. I walked into the supply store and the guy talked me into a Wahl Senior for around $200. Took it home, oiled it up, and the first fade I did on a regular client came out choppy as hell. The blade kept snagging on thicker hair and I had to go back over spots three or four times. I was sweaty and the client could tell something was off. Now I'm out two hundred bucks and still fighting this thing every single cut. Anyone else deal with a pricey upgrade that just did not perform, or is it something I'm doing wrong with the blade alignment?
