That's a solid move for winter. Just a heads up though, @christopher943, you might want to check the manual on refilling it daily. A lot of those cabinets are built to hold water for a few days at a time without needing a top-up. Adding water every single day can actually wear out the heating element faster. Mine only needs a refill maybe twice a week, and it stays plenty hot.

My buddy ran into that exact problem. He was topping off his cabinet every morning like clockwork. After about six months, the thing just stopped getting hot. The repair guy said constantly heating fresh cold water wore the element down way faster than normal. Now he checks the water level and only adds more when it's actually low.

Nice! Those things are a total game changer. I keep mine right by the sink and refill it every morning. Makes the whole routine feel way less brutal.
