Hot towel machine skeptics, I owe you an apology

Tbh I thought the hot towel machine at my shop was a gimmick for the first 6 months. Then last week I had a regular who gets tight jaw muscles and I threw a 180 degree towel on his neck before the cut, not even as a treatment just to warm him up. He sat there for 5 minutes and said the whole experience felt different, more relaxing, and he tipped $10 extra. I started using it on every client over 50 and my rebooking rate went up noticeably in just one week. Anyone else sleep on their towel warmer until a client basically told you to use it?

Ha! That's EXACTLY how it goes, the clients always know better than we do sometimes. Glad you gave it a real shot, that extra tip is proof enough for me.
