I thought those $80 Japanese steel shears were just hype until I tried a pair at the Philly convention last month and they glided through thick hair like nothing.

I mean, I was fully prepared to call them overpriced junk, but after using them for a single cut on a client with super dense hair, I immediately noticed the difference in hand fatigue and the clean line it left, so has anyone else had a tool they were totally wrong about?
