My take on disposable blades for detailing shifted after a client's skin reaction.
In my experience, I figured disposables were always safe, but seeing a sensitive scalp react made me rethink my approach. Your mileage may vary, so take this with a grain of salt.

Yeah, seeing a client react will change your view fast. I switched to single-use blades per client after something similar.

But is it really the blades causing issues every time? I've reused for years and never had a problem, just clean them well. Could be the soap or aftercare stuff, not the blade itself. Seems like an extra cost for maybe not the real reason.

After seeing a client break out in hives once, I never reused blades again. @alex_wilson79, you're spot on about how seeing a reaction changes your mind. Now I keep a big box of disposables on hand. It costs a bit more, but avoiding those phone calls about infections is worth it. Plus, clients notice and appreciate the extra care.
