Serious question, why do so many shops still use a straight razor on the neck when a trimmer with a 0 guard does it cleaner?

I switched to a trimmer with a 0 guard on necks six months ago at my chair in Phoenix and my irritation complaints dropped to zero, so I honestly want to know why anyone still reaches for the straight razor and shave cream for that part of the cut.
