Spent 45 minutes fixing a faded hairline fade that should have taken 10

I had a guy come in last Wednesday wanting a skin fade touch up, just a quick clean up around the edges. I figured 10 minutes tops, but his hairline was so faded and uneven from the last barber that I had to keep going back and blending. Before I knew it I was 45 minutes deep into one section and my next client was pacing by the door. I finally got it symmetrical but man I was sweating bullets. Has anyone else had a simple fix turn into a whole ordeal like that?

Right? Those quick fixes never are, it's always a rabbit hole.

My buddy tried to fix a leaky faucet with duct tape and a prayer last week, now his whole kitchen floor is warped and we're chipping in for a plumber. Always starts small, ends up with you staring at drywall dust wondering where your weekend went.
