Switched from a cheap comb to a Denman D3 for my fades and it's a game changer

I used a basic plastic comb for years, but the teeth would bend and the spacing was off. Picked up a Denman D3 last month and the metal teeth give way cleaner sections, especially on thick hair. Anyone else have a tool they switched to that made a big difference?

Plastic combs are the worst.

The D3 is solid. Ever try the D4 for bulkier sections? Heard the wider spacing works better on really dense hair. What guard length are you using it with most often?

Yeah, the D4 is good for that, I use it with a 1.5 guard mostly.
