Warning: That $400 clipper I bought online died after 3 months
Picked up a flashy cordless clipper for $400 from a random website and the motor started grinding on week 12 mid-fade, anyone else have luck getting refunds from those shady online tool sellers?

Paid $400 for a clipper that lasted 12 weeks. That's about $33 a week for a mediocre fade. Real bargain right there.
Good luck getting a refund from those sites. They probably already spent your money on a new domain name for their next scam.
Next time just buy a $40 Wahl from the drugstore. It'll probably outlive that fancy brick you got.

My cousin paid $350 for some "self-cleaning" clippers that stopped holding a charge after 6 weeks. Tbh the company just ghosted him when he tried to get help. He ended up using a rusty pair of scissors from his kitchen drawer for a month because he was so mad about losing that money. Ngl the whole thing made me just stick with my $25 trimmer from Target that I've had since 2019. It still works fine and I only use it like twice a month anyway. Sometimes you really gotta wonder if people just slap a fancy name on cheap plastic and call it a day.

Right on @claire_gibson, those drugstore Wahl clippers are absolute tanks for a fraction of the price!
