Bought into that whole 'smart alarm' hype last month

I spent $45 on some app that was supposed to wake me up at the perfect point in my sleep cycle, but instead it just went off randomly at 3am twice before I deleted it. Now I'm back to a basic phone alarm and honestly my mornings are way less confusing. Anyone else get tricked by one of those wellness apps?

Same thing happened to me with some sleep tracker. I just set my regular alarm for a consistent time every day and my body got used to it after a week. Way easier than paying for an app that doesn't know what it's doing.

Honestly is it really that big of a deal? I mean a sleep tracker just shows you numbers your body already tells you. I've woken up at different times for years and my sleep has been fine. Seems like people make it out to be this huge thing when it's really just about going to bed when you're tired.
